Northeast monsoon affecting Luzon and Visayas. Wind convergence affecting Mindanao.
Forecast:
Central and Southern Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao will experience cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and isolated thunderstorms becoming widespread rains over the Eastern sections which may trigger flashfloods and landslides. Northern Luzon will experience mostly cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers.
Moderate to strong winds blowing from the Northeast will prevail over Luzon and Visayas and the coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to rough. Light to moderate winds blowing from the East to Northeast will prevail over Mindanao with slight to moderate seas except during thunderstorms.
