INVITATION TO APPLY FOR ELIGIBILITY AND TO BID
The Angeles City Government, through its Bids and Awards Committee (BAC), invites contractors registered with and classified by the Philippine Contractors Accreditation Board (PCAB) to apply for eligibility and if found eligible, to bid for the hereunder contract:
1. Name of Project : Construction of Covered Court
Barangay Pulung Maragul, Angeles City
Brief Description : The work to be done shall consist of Earthwork, Concrete
Works, Structural Steel, Tinsmithry, Painting, Electrical,
Basketball Goal
Approved Budget for the Contract : P 4,866,994.75
Contract Duration : 100 Days
2. Name of Project : Construction of Drainage System along Broadway Street
Barangay Ninoy Aquino, Angeles City
Brief Description : The work to be done shall consist of Demolition &
Removal of Existing Structures, Excavation, Concrete
& Masonry, Backfilling and Clearing
Approved Budget for the Contract : P 561,427.71
Contract Duration : 50 Days
3. Name of Project : Concreting of Cavite Street
Barangay Balibago, Angeles City
Brief Description : The work to be done shall consist of Sub-Base
Preparation, Aggregate Base Course, PCC Pavement,
Clearing and Disposal of Waste Materials.
Approved Budget for the Contract : P 1,178,303.23
Contract Duration : 28 Days
4. Name of Project : Concreting of 3rd Street
Barangay Ninoy Aquino, Angeles City
Brief Description : The work to be done shall consist of Sub- Base
Preparation, Aggregate Base Course, PCC Pavement,
Clearing and Disposal of Waste Materials.
Approved Budget for the Contract : P 1,522,684.95
Contract Duration : 36 Days
5. Name of Project : Rechanneling of Abacan River
Barangay Malabanias & Sta. Teresita, Angeles City
Brief Description : The work to be done shall consist of Mobilization /
Demobilization and Rechanneling
Approved Budget for the Contract : P 3,998,410.64
Contract Duration : 44 Days
6. Name of Project : Desilting and Clearing of Garbage along
Arroyo (Sapang Matua) Creek
Barangay Balibago & Pulung Maragul,
Angeles City
Brief Description : The work to be done shall consist of Backfilling,
Clearing of Garbage.
Approved Budget for the Contract : P 11,583,803.22
Contract Duration : 27 Days
Prospective bidders should possess a valid PCAB License applicable to the contract, have completed a similar contract with a value of at least 50% of the ABC, and have key personnel and equipment (listed in the Eligibility Forms) available for the prosecution of the contract. The BAC will use non-discretionary pass/fail criteria in the Eligibility Check/Screening as well as the Preliminary Examination of Bids. The BAC will conduct post-qualification of the lowest calculated bid.
The pertinent provisions of R.A. 9184 and its Implementing Rules and Regulation (IRR) shall govern all particulars relative to Eligibility Statement and Screening, Bid Security, Performance Security, Pre-Bidding Conference, Evaluation of Bids, Post-Qualification and Award of Contract.

The BAC will issue to prospective bidders Eligibility Forms at City Engineer’s Office, upon their submission of a LOI, and upon their payment of a non-refundable amount of P500.00 to the Angeles City Cashier (Treasurer’s Office). Prospective bidders shall submit the Eligibility Requirements to the BAC at the said address. They may also obtain the results of the Eligibility Check by the BAC at the same address.
The BAC will issue Bidding Documents only to bidders declared by the BAC to be eligible for the bidding upon payment of a non-refundable amount of P 6,000.00 (P5,000,001.00 and Above), P5,500.00 (P4,000,001.00 to P5,000,000.00), P3,5000.00 (P2,999,001.00 to P3,999,000.00), P2,000.00 (P1,000,000.00 to P1,999,999.99) and P1,500.00 (P501,000 to P999,999.99) to the Angeles Cashier (Treasurer’s Office).
The Angeles City Government assumes no responsibility whatsoever to compensate or indemnify bidders for any expenses incurred in the preparation of their bids.
